1.About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to attendance at Zunzo Bounce Factory events and the use of our attractions, activities, facilities, website and associated services.

Zunzo Bounce Factory is operated by:

Zunzo Bounce Factory t/a Zunzo Party Hire

Email: info@zunzobouncefactory.co.uk

Throughout these Terms, "Zunzo Bounce Factory", "Zunzo Party Hire", "Zunzo", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator above.

By purchasing a ticket, accepting a transferred or gifted ticket, attending an event, or allowing a child in your care to participate, you agree to comply with these Terms together with our Booking Terms, applicable safety rules and reasonable instructions given by our staff.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

2.Admission to Zunzo Bounce Factory

Admission is subject to a valid ticket or other admission authorisation issued or recognised by Zunzo Bounce Factory.

Tickets are normally valid only for the event, date and session shown on the booking.

Customers should arrive in sufficient time to complete any required check-in procedures. Arriving late does not normally entitle the ticket holder to remain beyond the scheduled end of their session.

We may ask customers to show their booking QR code, booking reference or other reasonable evidence of their booking.

Admission remains subject to venue capacity, safety requirements and compliance with these Terms.

Detailed rules relating to purchasing, amending, transferring and gifting tickets are contained in our separate Booking Terms.

3.Children and adult supervision

Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent, guardian or responsible adult throughout their visit.

Zunzo staff may supervise individual inflatable attractions or activity areas for operational and safety purposes. The presence of Zunzo staff does not replace appropriate parental or guardian supervision.

Adults responsible for children must remain attentive and take reasonable steps to ensure that children in their care follow attraction rules, safety signage and staff instructions.

Children must not be left at a Zunzo Bounce Factory event without an appropriate responsible adult unless a particular event is expressly advertised by us as providing a different supervised arrangement.

Where our ticketing rules require an Adult Admission to accompany Child Admissions, those requirements must be followed.

4.Inflatables and attractions

Inflatable play is a physical activity and carries inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

These may include slips, trips, falls, collisions with other participants, loss of balance, awkward landings, bumps, bruises, sprains and other injuries associated with active play.

Customers and participants must follow all attraction-specific rules and reasonable instructions given by Zunzo staff.

Depending on the attraction, rules may include restrictions relating to age, height, size, capacity, footwear, clothing, behaviour or the number of participants permitted at any one time.

Not every attraction will necessarily be suitable for every child.

Zunzo may temporarily close, restrict or alter access to any attraction where reasonably necessary for safety, maintenance, operational requirements or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

5.Safety rules

Participants must:

  • follow reasonable instructions from Zunzo staff;observe safety signs and attraction rules;use equipment only for its intended purpose;comply with applicable age, height, size and capacity restrictions;remove shoes or other items where instructed;wear socks on inflatable attractions where required;remove sharp, loose or potentially dangerous objects before participating;avoid deliberately pushing, fighting, wrestling or behaving dangerously;not climb, sit or hang on inflatable walls, barriers or safety netting unless the attraction is specifically designed for that purpose;not take food, drinks, chewing gum, sharp objects or prohibited items onto inflatable equipment; andstop participating immediately when instructed by a member of staff.

These rules exist to protect participants, other visitors, staff and equipment.

6.Clothing, footwear and personal items

Customers are responsible for ensuring that participants are appropriately dressed for the activities they intend to use.

Shoes must be removed before using inflatable attractions where instructed.

Socks must be worn where required.

Glasses, jewellery, watches, keys, phones, badges, sharp objects and other loose belongings may need to be removed before using certain attractions.

Zunzo is not responsible for storing personal belongings unless a specific storage facility is expressly provided.

7.Behaviour

We want Bounce Factory to be enjoyable and safe for everyone.

Aggressive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, reckless or persistently unsafe behaviour towards customers, children, staff, performers, contractors or venue personnel will not be tolerated.

We may refuse participation, remove a person from an attraction, or require a person to leave the event where we reasonably believe their behaviour:

  • creates a safety risk;causes unreasonable disruption;threatens or intimidates another person;risks damage to equipment or the venue; orrepeatedly disregards reasonable staff instructions.

Where removal results from the attendee's own serious misconduct or failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, there may be no entitlement to a refund, subject always to applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the case.

8.Health and suitability to participate

Parents, guardians and responsible adults should consider whether an activity is suitable for a child in their care.

A participant should not use an attraction where doing so would reasonably be expected to place them or others at an unacceptable risk.

Customers should make staff aware of relevant information where it is reasonably necessary for us to help a participant use an attraction safely.

We cannot provide individual medical advice. Where there is uncertainty about whether participation is appropriate because of a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, disability or other health consideration, appropriate professional medical advice should be sought.

We will seek to make reasonable adjustments where applicable and practicable. Customers with accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact us in advance where discussing their needs would help us support their visit.

9.Digital waivers

Certain participants or activities may require a digital Participant Waiver, Risk Acknowledgement & Parent/Guardian Agreement.

Where a waiver is required for a child, it must be completed by a parent, legal guardian or another adult who is appropriately authorised to give the relevant consent.

A waiver may be completed by the booking customer or, where supported by our system, securely sent to another parent or guardian for completion.

Completion of a waiver does not remove Zunzo's legal responsibilities and does not exclude any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

A participant may be prevented from participating in an activity where a required waiver has not been completed.

10.Food and drink

Food, snacks and drinks may be available to purchase at certain events.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, food and drink are not included in the admission ticket price.

Availability, menus and prices may vary between events and may be subject to stock availability.

Where digital table ordering is available, ordering is subject to the ordering window and other conditions displayed through the customer's booking/account.

Customers are responsible for informing us or the relevant food provider of allergies or dietary requirements before ordering.

Although reasonable care may be taken when handling food, customers with serious allergies should speak to staff before purchasing or consuming food and should not rely solely on abbreviated menu descriptions.

Outside food and drink may be restricted by individual venue rules. Any such restriction should be communicated where applicable.

11.Face painting and other optional extras

Some events may offer optional activities or extras such as face painting.

These may be included, chargeable on the day, available for pre-purchase, or unavailable depending on the particular event.

Pre-purchasing an extra does not necessarily provide priority access unless expressly stated.

Face painting and similar activities may be subject to availability, queues, suitability and reasonable operating restrictions.

Parents or guardians should advise the relevant provider of known allergies, skin sensitivities or other concerns before allowing a child to participate.

Where a prepaid extra uses a digital redemption system, it will be treated as redeemed when properly recorded by authorised staff.

12.Characters, entertainment and prize giveaways

Some Bounce Factory events may include entertainment such as character appearances, children's discos, performers, games or prize giveaways.

Unless a particular appearance or activity is expressly stated to form a guaranteed part of a purchased ticket, entertainment may be subject to reasonable changes due to performer availability, illness, operational circumstances or other factors.

Where reasonably necessary, we may substitute, reschedule or withdraw an entertainment element.

Any competition or prize giveaway may be subject to additional rules communicated at the event.

13.Event programme and attraction changes

We aim to provide the attractions and entertainment advertised for each event.

However, event operations sometimes require changes.

We may make reasonable alterations to attraction placement, operating times, entertainment schedules or individual activities where necessary because of safety, equipment issues, performer availability, venue requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a significant change materially affects what a customer purchased, we will deal with the matter fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Booking Terms.

14.Event cancellation or rescheduling

Occasionally an event or session may need to be cancelled, postponed or rescheduled due to circumstances including severe weather, venue issues, equipment problems, safety concerns, staffing issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where Zunzo cancels an event or session, affected customers will be provided with the appropriate options in accordance with our Booking Terms and applicable consumer law, which may include a transfer, rescheduling option or refund.

Specific cancellation and refund provisions are set out in our Booking Terms.

15.Emergencies and first aid

Customers must follow staff and venue instructions in an emergency.

If a participant becomes injured or unwell, please notify a member of staff as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, Zunzo staff may take reasonable immediate steps to assist and may contact emergency services.

Our staff should not be treated as substitutes for qualified medical professionals.

Where emergency medical treatment is required, decisions regarding that treatment remain with appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.

16.Personal property

Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings.

Please avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to events.

To the extent permitted by law, Zunzo will not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property where that loss or damage was not caused by our negligence or breach of legal duty.

Any property found after an event may be retained for a reasonable period before being disposed of or donated where lawful and appropriate.

17.Damage to equipment or property

Customers must treat Zunzo equipment, venue property and other people's belongings with reasonable care.

A customer may be responsible for loss or damage caused deliberately or through negligent or reckless behaviour by themselves or a person for whom they are legally responsible, subject to applicable law.

Normal wear and tear and accidental damage not caused by negligence will not automatically result in a charge.

18.Photography and recording

Zunzo may take photographs or video at some events for operational, promotional or marketing purposes.

Where we intend to use identifiable images of children for promotional purposes, we will handle this in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and our Privacy Policy, including obtaining consent where required.

Customers may take personal photographs or videos of their own family where permitted, but should respect the privacy of other families.

Customers must not deliberately photograph or record other children in an intrusive or inappropriate manner.

Professional or commercial photography or filming requires prior permission from Zunzo.

Photography or recording may be restricted in certain areas or circumstances for safeguarding, privacy or operational reasons.

19.Smoking, vaping, alcohol and prohibited items

Smoking and vaping are not permitted within inflatable activity areas and are subject to the rules of the relevant venue.

Illegal drugs, weapons and dangerous items are prohibited.

Anyone who appears significantly impaired by alcohol or drugs may be refused participation or asked to leave where we reasonably consider this necessary for safety.

20.Accessibility

We want Bounce Factory to be welcoming to as many families as reasonably possible.

The accessibility of individual attractions may vary because of their physical nature, venue layout and safety requirements.

We will consider reasonable adjustments in accordance with applicable law.

Customers who would benefit from discussing accessibility arrangements before attending should contact:

info@zunzobouncefactory.co.uk

Further information is available on our separate Accessibility page.

21.Our responsibility to customers

Zunzo will provide its services with reasonable care and skill as required by applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable as a result of our breach, or for losses arising from circumstances for which we are not legally responsible, subject always to applicable law.

Customers remain responsible for appropriate supervision and for taking reasonable steps to ensure children in their care follow safety rules and staff instructions.

Acknowledging the inherent risks associated with inflatable and physical play does not remove any duty of care that we owe under applicable law.

22.Your consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms affects rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

Consumer contract terms and notices are subject to statutory fairness and transparency requirements, and unfair terms are not binding on consumers.

Where these Terms conflict with a statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, the statutory right will take precedence.

23.Website and online services

Customers must use the Zunzo Bounce Factory website, customer account and booking services lawfully.

You must not knowingly:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to another person's account or booking;interfere with the operation or security of the website;manipulate ticket, discount, referral, reward or redemption systems;attempt to create duplicate or fraudulent tickets;misuse booking references or QR codes belonging to another person; oruse automated or malicious systems to interfere with our services.

We may restrict access to an account or online function where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, fraud or security concerns.

24.Customer accounts

Where customers create a Zunzo Bounce Factory account, they are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.

Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

Information stored within customer accounts is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

25.Separate booking terms

Ticket purchases and bookings are also governed by our Booking Terms.

The Booking Terms contain more detailed provisions concerning matters such as:

  • ticket purchases and prices;Stripe payments;booking confirmation;QR tickets and booking references;amendments;session changes;ticket gifting and transfers;cancellations and refunds;prepaid extras;promotional discounts;referrals and rewards; andother booking-specific conditions.

Customers should read the Booking Terms before completing a purchase.

26.Privacy and personal information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This may include information necessary to operate bookings, customer accounts, participant records, waivers, check-in, ticket transfers, prepaid extras, food orders, referrals and customer communications.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy for information about what we collect, why we use it, how long it may be retained and your rights.

27.Complaints and problems during your visit

If you experience a problem during an event, please raise it with a member of the Zunzo team as soon as reasonably possible.

Giving us the opportunity to address a problem during the event can often allow it to be resolved immediately.

For complaints after an event, contact:

info@zunzobouncefactory.co.uk

Please provide your booking reference and sufficient information for us to investigate the matter.

We aim to deal with complaints fairly and within a reasonable time.

28.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our events, services, systems or applicable legal requirements.

The current version will be published on our website together with its last-updated date.

Where a change would materially affect an existing booking, we will not rely on a later version to retrospectively remove rights that formed part of the customer's agreement when they booked.

29.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

30.Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you will retain any mandatory legal protections concerning jurisdiction or applicable law that are available to you.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a consumer from exercising rights available under applicable consumer law.
